California Science Camp
Science is important in our day to day lives. Everything around us has something to do with science whether it's cooking, driving a car, jumping on a trampoline, or just watching the snow fall. It is important for kids to learn and enjoy science so they can appreciate and understand their environment.
Being outdoors is one of the best ways to learn about science. However, nowadays, kids are into video games, cell phones and Facebook and being outside is becoming less and less appealing. Kids can also grow bored of the day to day classroom activities, making learning science a chore. That is why science camp is important. Kids need time for going outdoors and exploring the world around them. They need dig in the dirt, wade in a pond and do experiments.
The beautiful California Mountains are the ideal place for science camp. There is room to wander outdoor and learn about the geologic history of California, conduct experiments on different soil types, and launch rockets 100 feet in the air. At night, the skies are clear which is perfect for studying the solar system. An outdoor science education can get kids pumped about being outside again and help enhance their interest in science.
