Educators appreciate that it's important to guarantee that their students are learning. This is why it is crucial to assure that they are not only experiencing a complete education, but also one that exposes them to a variety of disciplines. One curriculum that is often overlooked, though, is science. And yet, it's so easy to make sure that students receive a proper education in science that is also fun and exciting with outdoor education.

Making sure students learn about science and the world around them as a result of an outdoor education is possible. Take a few minutes to explore our website and you will quickly see how we are taking education outside of boring walls of a typical classroom and into the great outdoors to make sure that students are not only learning, but are excited about the process.

An outdoor education is about so much more than only reading about science and nature in a textbook or by hearing about it during a lecture. This is because the camp lets students experience those areas when they study mammals, flowers and plants, rock formations and other subjects in their natural locations.

Outdoor education camps also help students develop an appreciation for nature by offering hikes, hosting outdoor activities, teaching survival skills and other events. But there is something else the camps will provide that is just as important, if not more so than the other knowledge students will gain. And this is developing leadership skills as they learn the importance of teambuilding, setting goals, showing respect to others, developing interpersonal skills and other traits that like the education they receive will benefit them for the rest of their lives.

Parents don't have to worry about sending their children to our outdoor education camps. This is because students who have attended previous camps have not only become more knowledgeable about the world around them, but also enjoyed the experience. The reason for this is because students are housed in comfortable quarters and enjoy tasty meals. A dedicated staff of both educators and scientists, along with enthusiastic support personnel, work diligently to make sure each student's visit is an experience they will always remember fondly.

We offer a customized program for outdoor education to suit any school's requirements. Educators can choose a three to five-day program and then select from 36 class modules, which are divided into three categories that include outdoor education, science and leadership. Lessons consist of four 90-minute sessions and some can be combined as double sessions for more in-depth learning sessions. But regardless of the subject or length of class, students will be having so much fun that they may not realize they are learning.

The result is that everyone wins. Parents are happy with children that are enjoying a fun and educating time away from home, while educators realize the success of changing young lives for the better by helping them to better themselves both intellectually and socially.

Outdoor Educational Programs

There are several different outdoor educational programs available.  These programs are made to help children understand the natural environment and to teach them survival skills in the wilderness.

Outdoor Leadership

Children learn leadership abilities in several different ways. They may learn leadership by working with other children in a classroom, such as leading a reading discussion, or they may learn outdoor leadership, such as leading a hiking expedition.

Outdoor Schools

The idea of a summer camp has been around for decades. These camps offer children a chance to enjoy nature in a supervised setting.

Outdoor Science

Teaching children about science can be one of the most rewarding experiences for any instructor. Children learn best by hands on experiences and this can be difficult to duplicate in an indoor classroom. Institutions like ours offer children a chance to learn outdoor science in a natural setting.

Outdoor Science School

Outdoor science school is not something most people are used to hearing. Therefore, for those who would like to know more about the science of nature and other fascinating things to discover outdoors should explore our website.
