NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION WEEK 2017

National Environmental Education (EE) Week is the nation’s largest celebration of environmental education. It is held each spring around Earth Day and inspires environmental learning and stewardship among K-12 students. This year, the theme is “Environmental Education Every Day & Every Way,” and it is April 23-29, 2017 (Earth Day is April 22).

Since its inception in 2005, EE Week has reached hundreds of thousands of students and educators across the United States with unbiased, high-quality, environmental education materials grounded in accurate, timely, scientific information and tied to local, state, and national learning standards.

EE Week works to celebrate all of the educators who are making a difference in the world of environmental education and STEM learning by providing them with the tools and resources they need to continue inspiring the next generation of lifelong environmental learners. NEEF’s(National Environmental Education Foudnaion) 13th annual National Environmental Education Week, sponsored by Samsung, inspires environmental learning among K-12 students, and beyond, with EE events and projects taking place across the country in classrooms, after school clubs, parks, aquariums, museums, and more.  Programs like Pali Institute’s Outdoor Education program encourages Environmental Education Every Day & Every Way through more than 30+ modules and classes.

Help spread the word by sharing the news about EE Week with others!
